VIENNA WALTZ An almost forgotten style of AMBER LAGER, it can be described as a summer version of Octoberfest.   Aged 12 weeks in our cellar before filtering. 13 Plato.

JULIAN HARD CIDER   JULIAN– HARD CIDER, made in California.   Pure, clear, no additives or caramel color.   7% alc.

COLT LIGHT LAGER Our lightest offering in color, calories and carbs. An easy drinking AMERICAN LIGHT BEER brewed with 100% malt -- no corn, fillers or rice! Pint or 23 oz.

CZARS & GIRLS   RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT.   As black and dark as Joseph Stalin’s soul!     22 Plato. Served in a 12 oz. tumbler.

THE NAUGHTY NURSE The Naughty Nurse has become quite the popular lady in the Nutmeg State (find out how popular by clicking here). With her classy and sensual elegance, combined with just the right amount of...ahem...bite, she has made many a friend both inside and outside of our brewpub. Don't let that "come hither" look fool you,  though - she is all business when it comes to performance.  In fact, she is our best seller!   If the Nurse  needs a match, it can be a nice beefy burger, or almost anything else on a pub style menu.  And with her moderate alcohol content,  she  can  stand alone and  make your next Session last a long, long time!  This fine ale is brewed for a spicy, slightly bittersweet finish using traditional English malt, hops, yeast and manners.   Avaiable short or tall, of course! 13 Plato.

BLONDE ON BLONDE What can we say about the Blonde on Blonde?  Is it the upright  way she holds that tray that makes us love her? Or is it the humongous hops sitting on top that gets our bubbles bursting? This  PALE ALE was our 2nd beer made available for statewide distribution, and has been a growing hit among Connecticut consumers since 2010.  In November of 2012,  Blonde on Blonde won 1st place in the Pale Ale category at the Great International Beer Festival in Providence, R.I.   It is brewed with German hops for bitterness, Zythos and Cascade hops for aroma. CITY STEAM CREAM ALE – Our lightest offering in colorand carbs. CREAM ALE is a lightly hopped blend of ale and lager, for a smooth and refreshing flavor. 12° Plato. Pint or 23 oz.

THE EXPORT Please put your seats up and make sure your trays are in the upright, folded position. The party is off to Germany as we celebrate with strudel,  bratwurst, and VolksWagens!  But most importantly, we raise our steins with The Export, a classic German style BLONDE LAGER.  Wonderfully malty, not overly bitter, this elegant, well balanced brew packs just enough slow cold aged punch to make a believer out of the most dedicated ale fanatic!  Trust me, get this one in a growler to go for later.  Guten Tag! 13.5 Plato, served in a heavy mug (not too heavy, though).

WHITE WEDDING This delicious, unfiltered WHEAT ALE is served in a traditional 22oz vase shaped glass, which allows the carbonation to fully rise and release its enticing aroma.  Quality & Quantity, our favorite combination!  We named  this brew "White Wedding" because, as they say, it's always a nice day for one!  Raise your  glass in a toast to this untraditional marriage of Canadian grain, American wheat beer yeast, and Belgian-style spices. With a gravity of 14 Plato, This beer is approximately 5.6% ABV.

FLOWERS OF EDINBURGH     A rare “highland” treat.   Super potent, creamy, slightly smoky, like sipping a fine Scotch. Unfiltered.   Served in a brandy snifter.   23 Plato.

UNCLE DUNKEL DARK LAGER The "dark uncle".... because there is one in every family. A beautifully malty DARK LAGER, so smooth and drinkable it's a bit dangerous. 13 Plato. Served in a mug.

P.V. PORTER A highly drinkable SESSION PORTER. Named in honor of P.V. O’Donnell, the departed and beloved Irish fiddler who presided over many a session at City Steam. 12 P.

INNOCENCE ALE Absolutely packed with an abundance of sweet malt and bitter hops, this fine American INDIA PALE ALE is anything but what the name suggests.   18P.

WOODCHUCK HARD CIDER Text and logo from www.woodchuck.com Crisp and refreshing because it's  made from New England apples, never woodchucks.   The Amber  version we offer here is sweet (but not too sweet) with a nice dark golden color and a crisp malic finish.  It is also gluten free, for those whom it matters.  5% alchol/vol.
